While I agree in the main, gay people in the West of a certain age have certainly experienced a great deal of negativity, and have had to face it. Bullying is real. And dealing with bullying builds character. So in the sense that gay people have to come to terms with being somewhat different from the norm, and dealing with blowback from that, in my view, tends to make gay people better people in the sense that they have some toughness, and have greater empathy for those who've been similarly treated. All things equal, gayness cannot tell you much about a persons character, but it can tell you a little bit about it.

I watch some EDI videos with an openly sceptical mind, as i know enough not to become a sheep, believing what's on the surface as absolute.

It's a dementing era because too many people have access to a lot of information, albeit toxic, debilitating or possibly informative. It's just that at least 70% of further educated individuals are easily indoctrinated by articles on victimhood, whether of 100, 200, 300 years ago or of the present, and of articles that shout vitriol against "white" or "patriarcy".

But again we have a major contradiction. If truth is just a 'white construct' then trans people can't justify their assertion that they are 'born in the wrong body'. I loved this. I have become disillusioned, recently, with mr Murray due to his comments re the Palestinians and his unwavering and, seemingly, dogmatic support for all the actions of Israel… for which I am sure we have a little, but not endless, sympathy. However, this reminds me that his heart is in the right place with this issue and his intellect and compassion are clear.

The Left and Democrats talk out of both sides of their mouth constantly. They apparently arent bright enough to see how they contradict their own flimsy, unbelievable belief systems.

Children, not matter what they may themselves say, do not have any real understanding of sexuality and will not until they have been through puberty. Little girls often have girl crushes and go on to be straight women. You need the hormones you get during puberty to understand your own sexuality properly. I have a friend who was a militant gay until he was in his twenties when he realised he was bi and ended up happily married to a woman.

Pretending to be gay to smuggle conservative views in is literally taking one for the team. I mean no offence to gay people, BTW. It's just a joke.
